Founding TIDES2MUSIC members, David Harrison and John Brooks, have been involved in the music industry in Western Australia for over thirty years.

Their original band (The Tides) was formed in Karratha in 1985.  The Tides travelled far and wide, entertaining communities across the Pilbara Region.

In recent years David and John have played under the names of Tides R Live and Daharros (a pseudonym under which David writes and promotes his original music).
Over the years, they have specialised in playing at and coordinating community festivals and fairs, as well as the full range of social functions and celebrations, including; parties, weddings and anniversaries.

With the impending release of their first album, "Ten Thousand Faces", David and John have made a few changes; including the new band name TIDES2MUSIC and the addition of a female vocalist to their line up.
This has resulted in the broadening of the band's repertoire and led to greater flexibility in the service it offers its clients.

After nearly two years in the making, we are excited that our album, 'Ten Thousand Faces', is nearly complete. The final proof of the artwork has been been completed and the packs will be duplicated next week. Exciting!
The songs have all come up well and we are really happy with how things are turning out. Once mastering has been done, the album will be ready for pressing and distribution......and, hopefully, a few sales!!!
Currently, we are planning to have a country launch in mid-December, where we will play all the tracks from the album and give some insight about the songs.
Flyers/invitations will be sent out soon.

We hope to have another launch/celebration, in Perth, early in the New Year.
